Perhaps, but honestly I’m not sure refusing to wear it is a good look for anyone involved here. Rightly or wrongly, it will be taken to mean he doesn’t support LGBT+ rights and equality. Part of the captaincy is to reflect and embody the club’s values. I’m not sure he’s done that.

Agreed that it doesn't reflect well on the club and from the work they do with the foundation doesn't reflect the values of the club and the fans.
