I fear the MAGA Following will rethink loyalty to Trump if he and Musk follow through on making cuts to Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid. A hit to their income will wake them up.

Why fear that?
You are correct - they will only respond to one of two things:
1. They are embarrassed or humiliated; or
2. The result of Trump policy impacts them OR someone they care about directly…
Most MAGA never admit to making poor choices. Even when they screw up things in their own lives, it is always more important to them to blame someone else than it is to try to fix the problem. Will anything get them to turn on their movement? Doubtful. It’s going to be up to us.
