Writing Tip:
While you might feel tempted to only focus your dialogue on important plot stuff, allowing characters to chat about other things is a wonderful way to naturally include lore-building. Not everything has to be hyper-focused on the main story.

Characters should get to talk about stuff that makes their characters unique.
I love little details like that, makes the characters feel so much more real and tangible, even if you don’t even notice it first time reading.
My question, how to find out when it becomes too much? General criteria i use for now is to ask from my reader friends where did they were feeling off the story or bored when reading my MS. But is there a way to find it yourself?
