You know how people call facial tissue "Kleenex," even though it's a brand name, and not all facial tissues are Kleenex?

Same with the Nazi salute. Yes, there have been other cultures that used a straight-arm salute, but the Nazis claimed it. Permanently. I'm not calling it a "gesture."
