Quickly coming to the conclusion that when people accuse sex workers of "glorifying the industry"
what they really mean is being mad at someone who refuses to frame their experience in SW as nothing but constant misery and abuse.

When women SWs actually like their job and become rich at it like on a fans only platform, it pisses men way off, because part of the sexual hit for men is the idea that the woman is forced into it and is suffering.
Disgusting. 1/2
The guys couldn't handle it.
Power-play fantasies are being had...
I suspect the general anti-SW attitudes are rooted in people's learned shame about sex in general & misogyny as well
The idea that any SW wants to be an SW hits that "you should be ashamed for liking sex" in people's brains hard & they lash out at SWs

And then the self empowerment of "I'm sexy and I know it" from women in SW really upsets misogynists because it means they can't use that shame to coerce them /2
There's a lot of messy anti-SW attitudes even from supposed leftists that I think are driven by these two beliefs
Unlearning the shame and misogyny is apparently too much of an ask for most ppl, easier to be an anti-SW douche🙄
