This may be an unpopular opinion, but I strongly agree with the authors. The current process incentivizes students to pad their resumes rather than learn medicine.

How exactly do we know that the student aren’t learning the material now?
And, assuming that they aren’t learning the material, does that mean that they cannot become good doctors and leaders in medicine?
