I live in the EU and do not feed my cats raw meat, but I know people who do, and I've shown them your posts, just to advise them to remain alert.

Thanks for posting about your experience, I am now more aware that I need to know what foods and treats have raw chicken/turkey and probably search any I'm using while the bird flu is spreading and companies aren't disclosing. So sorry about what you're going through.

Northwest Naturals did an immediate voluntary recall when their turkey possibly sickened a cat. I'm only purchasing fish from them, now, but I respect how they handled the situation.
