Do it. I hesitated before adopting it but once I did, I did not look back. When you write, especially in Obsidian where content is prioritized, it makes thinking remarkably clear. Need something not supported? Write a plugin for it!

I love Obsidian, but I wish it had the database capabilities of Notion. Or is there a great plugin you can recommend?

That’s the mindset change. Your vault is a database. Query your content with dataview.
