Saw this over and over working with teens excluded from education. Once they hit the PRU, the change in the green and the difficulty of assisting them was exponentially higher. The system is failing the kids must in need of help.

No matter what interventions are offered, once a child is sent to a PRU, the long-term psychological damage of rejection has already happened.
