They will be crying for the Democrats to 'do something" when the bill moves through Congress. Even when the GOP will be completely responsible for damning them to debt for the rest of their lives and we told them to work on this though Congress.

I eventually got tired of telling them that student loan forgiveness needs to be done as part of addressing the costs of higher education. What's the point of erasing the debt if we don't address why it's there in the first place and have the same problem another 10 years from now.
