A question really needs to be asked whether this was the Supreme Court's judgement or the EHRC's. Either way, both seem incredibly corrupt and misleading in a way that undermines both organisations.

Agreed, the very active trans exclusion by the Supreme Court suggests to me that their ruling was contrived to order. Sooner we get this tawdry mess to the European Court of Human Rights for scrutiny the better. For shame, our Supreme Court this must surely undo its hollow boasts of independence.

I hate to be a dampener on this, but there is no guarantee that it will ever go before the ECHR. From what I hear, the wait is long enough it may be after the next election, and we may have left the ECHR as a result. I hope not, I want to see things get better, but that's our harsh reality.

Not a lawyer, just a journalist. AFAIK the waiting time depends on whether the actions brought are considered impact cases. If so, then they are expedited. There are three criteria and the loss of human rights by trans people would appear to fit neatly all three.

Yep. I don't disagree. I don't even think they'll listen to public pressure. At this point, the country is screwed. I think they're causing chaos across the board so effective opposition can't form behind any one thing - which means we should be focusing on getting Starmer out, asap.

The EHRC whispered the correct law to the SC and then shouted 10 times louder for 10 times as long why the Court should not follow the law and remove trans rights.

The Court chose the latter, deliberately.
