I would suggest either Yakuza 0 or Yakuza 7. The games masterfully blend light hearted subplots and dramatic storylines.

Yeah 0 seems to be the consensus. I’ve checked and its only $20 on PS, seems like a good deal.

Yeah, generally the Yakuza series goes on sale often, and for low prices. If you have a month or so, I would recommend going through the series. Granted, 7 is gonna take a while because that's a JRPG, but every moment is worth it.

Yeah. This definitely works, but... Infinite wealth (8) kinda requires some Kiyru knowledge... Also, the series was always called Like a Dragon in Japan (RGG Studios is literally Like A Dragon Studios ;) )
