If Starmer can bring the UK growth of 1.5 - 2% by closer ties to the EU but not rejoining SM or CU or the EU I think that would be a phenomenal result. And avoid more Farage riots. Double whammy. Then we have time to see how it works out ahead of firmer commitments.
