in Shrek 5 they will go to a big city with medieval skyscrapers and there will be giant magic mirror billboards that show TV and ads and streams and shit. and the city will be called like "Old York" or something

Personally the idea of a Futuristic city in a medieval setting doesn't sound so bad. Just get the look, the vibes, the materials etc. and it'll work out.
