monsters and then they get extremely aggressiveβ¦then they start attacking each otherβ¦
I recall seeing a sign in Berchtesgaden saying "Bitte tauben nicht fΓΌttern". It seemed very reticent. I might have expected "Tauben fΓΌttern ist verboten".

For maybe the last 4 or 5 yrs Maggie's nested in same tree every year.
I could walk under their nest ok but any visitors were swooped.
And they brought their kids to meet me every year once they could fly.
Corvids are amazing. It is vital that they know you are on their side. They hold grudges, and remember faces - they even teach their children which humans are good and which are not. Hmm. I wonder if we could convince them to join the resistance.
The Texas Mockingbird will give them a run for their money. I was attacked years ago while walking into the bank in Dallas and then they came after me again when I left the bank. Still traumatized.
No. Unfortunately it is not only in Australia. Oregon state has an exemption to the International Birds treaty that permits murder of Magpies if they are deemed a nuisance. Heck, I know a lot of humans that are a nuisance.
