$7 is not anywhere close to where the price of eggs are going. We went to the store yesterday and all they had was 1/2 doz packs and they were 6 bucks.

I think for the cheap 12 pack ones 7 dollars will be about right at least where I live. It wouldn't surprise me if they went up slightly higher than that.

I could see this coming weeks ago when Trump stated mass deportations. These immigrants work hard getting food to our stores. Who is going to pick the food now? Not Americans at $6 per hour. You would need to pay more, thus costs go up.
