I mean, it depends what you want from your Optimus! This guy is lovely in isolation, but he is kind of an oddity and I don't think he'd really fit in with most collections. I think the general consensus right now is that the Studio Series Commander Optimus is pretty much the best all-purpose one
How would you say it compares with Missing Link OP? Based on what I've seen of this lad, ML seems pretty much pointless unless you're *really* attached to the diecast metal or that tiny smidge of extra height.
He was actually what I wanted rather than ML - a toyetic Prime that would also fit in with other Generations figures. Still desperately waiting for ID to get in the rest of their ordered stock so that they can send mine.
Patiently. I mean patiently waiting. Not desperate. No. Definitely not.
Got mine last week. My only gripe is the joint tightness on mine for the forearm panel for transforming the hand. Flipping it down the first time required way force than I would have liked. I was afraid of a snap or stress marks.
I only ever got to handle a G1 prime once, so having one in that style but with modern engineering and articulation....simple tho it is, I think it might just be a perfect Transformer. I can't leave it on my display shelf for more than an hour because of taking it down to fool with it!
