I don’t disagree with that at all. It was what I was saying, vote with the party, win and then fight about policy not strategy. But, we have to talk about this not call names.

We have to reckon with the fact that people have red lines and simultaneously encourage them to vote a certain way while also remaining empathetic to their position. Kamala was awful on Gaza but there were still legitimate reasons to vote for her and that point wasn’t broadly made in a kind way.
Good point! Does this answer your question about how to get people off the couch? I was going to say we need to go back to grassroots organizing and education. We need to work through local media and newsletters to get people thinking about what the fed gov’t does compared to local gov’t.1/
I got so many emails and texted asking for money and none that talked about how the policy of both sides would affect me or other people around the country. None of those emails showed empathy. You are correct about that too. Thanks for sharing and engaging.
