Much of this is creating a look what the left hand is doing to outrage while the right hand is actually doing the scary stuff. There is no way intelligent politicians cannot understand that the majority of this stuff will be stopped by the courts or undone later.

Which makes me wonder what is actually happening that the press is missing with all of the 'look at this idiocy and look at that idiocy'. It's a bad political magic trick that is throwing things against the wall, hoping something will stick and create a new norm.

We see a few politicians that are wringing their hands, saying 'how awful' and 'how terrible' but that's all the say. They still go to work. They still have their jobs and their healthcare, and they still have the attention of the opposing party. But it feels hollow because it's just words.

AOC and some others are talking on social media to the people and not in general terms. The key is that in 2 years the midterms happen. Where we must resist now, we also need to remember those that were in the fight and those that stood back and said ', Okay, I'm okay'. On both sides of the fence.

I don’t see outrage anywhere but in the WH. We need some outrage from the public. American public is are exhausted after 3 weeks? Chaos is his fuel better get used to this. This is his optimum speed and his ultimate burn rate.
