No, it was "prevent elections." Violent disruption would be sufficient to prevent elections. American poll workers are not going to be willing to risk police violence to hold elections without a ton of cultural preparation between now and then.

Where have you been? Poll workers are already doing their jobs in the face of violence. It's the university administrators and big law senior partners who are too scared to face fascist's wrath. Poll workers are brave.
They certainly are, violence backed by a barely accountable to unaccountable civil authority depending on location is a different matter than sporadic paramilitary violence. If there is cultural preparation beforehand, if they are not blindsided by the possibility, I have every confidence in them.
Without that? Without a prepared population at their backs? They will be few enough that they can be carted off regardless of their willingness to fight.
To be clear, I don't think that path is likely to end well for the enemy.
