Here’s the worst thing about that, and I know I sound like an arsehole, but so be it: I deliberately choose to manually visit many independent websites a day. Partly as a fight against tech bros, sure, but also because it genuinely makes my use of the internet more pleasant.

I guess the problem here is that I've just never seen hunting stuff out for myself online to be anything but a joy. It's certainly never felt like work. It's half the fun and half the point.
