For most of my life I’ve been hearing people say, that the reason the Republicans are so pro-gun is they support the Second Amendment and freedom and other nonsense. And then I met one guy at a gun show who said they are arming themselves for a civil war and they’re using the Constitution to do it.

It’s not going to be solved by Congress. We need to do it. Stop allowing guns to be socially acceptable. Don’t accept it when your friends have them. Too many have them in their homes. Make your friends pariahs if they have guns. Make guns deplorable. Don’t go visit if there are guns in the home.

As someone who has been around guns my whole life, & lives in rural area in TX - there is NO reason not to keep them under lock & key, NO reason to own a semiautomatic (we have feral pigs & rabid animals, too,) & absolutely NO reason they should ever be anything other than a very dangerous tool
