The carjacking victim picked up and had sex with the woman who allegedly robbed him. Under these circumstances, don’t you think the police might have asked if the alleged carjacker appeared to be pregnant?

Facial recognition is, in fact, racist. Also the fact that they matched with an old photo and not a current one shows the Detroit police and Wayne County DA are just lazy and incompetent .

The technology is not ready for prime time... not sure if the neural networks got enough data, or if they were trained using data from people who think "they all look alike." Maybe lawsuits against the software company and mindless LE officials will tamp that nonsense down.
