I find it interesting to have Niah living in a world (of Cowboy Bebop that is full of corruption and crime syndicates. The world can be discouraging that it feels there’s truly no hope for the future with no light in sight. But she tries her best to uphold her values & morals despite it all.

She also faces that line between black & white, that shade of grey where what appears to the eyes is not as simple as it may seem. Spike lives in that grey area due his hectic, violent pattern of behavior, and she happens to learn more about this chaotic world the more she’s in his company.
