probably the lore? like how the MC and MLs know each other in their past lives (tho tbh the lore is not cnovel/cdrama standard)

so eg.
for xavier/沈星回 knows MC from the future and travelled to the past so it's a loop.
for rafayel, he met MC when he was a sea god but MC has no memory of it in the current timeline
and then other than the main story there are AU stories
