One of the reasons we had ww2 is because most people who could do something about it beforehand thought that avoiding war meant appeasement
And if not for Churchill the British may have very well surrender and we would be living in a very different world

Nope the rich bow to whoever is in authority because all they care about is keeping their wealth and power, which is why media consolidation bucks.
