totally hit a wall with this though.. it was going to be a battle royale where 6 psychic girls battle to the death a la hunger games.. but the premise is making me too sad..
had a big final push to get it over the edge but i have to call it.. i bit off way way more than i could chew, way too many systems.. ill revisit this in future but i won't make the 7drl deadline, i can feel my irl darkest dungeon stress meter is 1 notch away from a heart atk
im surprised i dont see more little hops for movement in (classical) roguelikes. its a nice way to draw attention to what moved and add a little bit of fluidity to what is really a very stiff genre regarding movement.
yaa definitely!! im personally bad at figuring out what actually happens in a turn without it having big visual queues.. ive added pop-ups for what actions entities are using, and damage numbers a la runescape... rly makes things nice and so readable
