Love how undeveloped it remains despite proximity to far more (over)developed spots on the Gulf of Mexico. It’s such a splendid little sliver of beauty.
There’s actually great marine biology being done on Dauphin Island. Took my kid to a summer camp there and the educators were fantastic. Also a university-level science hub. We’re not all Trumpers.
