Like go the other way? Make a wavebird transmitter for wired controllers? Seems pretty reasonable. The radio config should work in both directions although that'd be a whole different project

Yep, i see a lot of broken controllers that are being sold for like 10 bucks, between a new shell, new joystick caps and this, it's be a super fun project in my opinion ^^
But it was just an idea, i'm mostly hyped for the flippydrive !

8BitDo makes a GC controller conversion kit. Just needs the triggers and shell from a donor controller.

I'm pretty focused on the Flippydrive at the moment, but the receiver design passes through the existing front plate, so yeah whether regular or blueretro board, it should work transparently
