I was a DEI hire! And I am a white middle class retired woman. Working woman today don't understand that they are all DEI hires. I remember my supervisors over many years favoring "family men" and gave them the best money-making house accounts available. I had to beg for the crumbs.

Yep, pretty much. Back in the 90's workplace harassment used to be the norm, and we had to learn to stand up for ourselves when no one else would. Back farther than that too. My BFF's mom has been protesting for a long time and still does.
