Boss told me the things that I don't have to worry about at the moment (January was a ton of 'fires' popping up), reassured me that I'm doing great with my cases, AND he's coming to my office to help on Tuesday.

I didn't ask for help. I know everyone is overloaded. I was more trying to manage expectations since I'm just doing the best I can as one person who's responsible for most of the county's restaurants/hotels/campgrounds and half the rabies cases (though right now 3-4 in isolation).

Thank you! T_T and you make a good point. They've been having a hard time keeping staff and I think it's just the nature of the work (and pay). And it takes so long to learn - 18 months! And even then I'm told it takes 4 years until you feel solid. At 2 years in I believe that now.

And yea, been trying to practice not waiting until I can't stand something anymore to speak about it. I don't think I fully succeeded but I moved the point a little! At least it was before I was 100% ready to quit xD
