Moved in five years ago tomorrow. I knew Covid was coming and we had to really push to get it to happen, so glad we did - a great place to come home to and worth all the effort we've put into it since.

To continue the theme, did my first lime plastering today - someone had used a modern plaster skim which blew (I've also resolved the cause). I'm not a plasterer (clearly) but I think I can get away with rustic once I tidy up a bit when it's dry and it'll breathe properly on a solid outside wall now

It's a 6-700 year old building so there's centuries of bodging to deal with too - no doubt I've added to them ;)
