I participated in the Iowa City, Iowa Veterans Protest. There about 100 veterans, VA workers and supporters. Vets said the care they received at the VA in Iowa City was exemplary. The VA workers said they are usually understaffed and work as though they are fully staffed!

That’s the standard work understaffed and then direct the blame at the staff🤯At my hospital they would cancel staff and then tell you they called off leaving the staff to whether the storm short😱But I always remember those that put profits before lives will one day lie in that bed

They bring in nurses on visas then pay them at the CNAs/LVNs rate and lock them into 2/4 year contracts but they expect RNs(new grads thrown into acute care situations)😲🫢🥺🤯(Ya know sink or swim ⏰s 💸)This company was for Profit1st❤️‍🩹😢When legislation is passed on staffing they’ve got a work around😑
