Musk’s glaring conflicts of interest deserve more attention https://thehill.com/opinion/5122059-elons-musk-space-starlink-concerns/
His overlapping roles as both a gov't "official" & CEO of a major defense contractor create inherent conflicts of interest—especially given how deeply his business interests r intertwined with China’s.
He doesn’t want to be responsible for running the country, he and Trump and their buddies are buying up stock like crazy while it’s down then in a month when they cancel the tariffs and the market is up, they’ll sell, couple billion $$ easy $
Yes, the mainstream media is fucking worthless. All weekend Musk's coup was in progress. You'd never know it from the reporting in NYT or WaPo. I blame the journalists as much as the editors/publishers.
Fear and addiction are unintentional collaborations, but they are collaborations nonetheless. A journalist needs courage. They need to be able to sacrifice themselves for the sake of truth, for the sake of democracy
If our information was on cards in filing cabinets and they rolled up and loaded the cabinets into trucks, perhaps this would be treated like the unlawful looting it is. The online nature of the theft seems to be obscuring the horror of it all, though you'd still think the media would catch on.
Don't forget: We're here after Trump's worst ever, "You don't need to vote!", campaign. R's new, AI turbo charged Jim Crow voter suppression created massive D challenges. Here's the story introduced by Martin Sheen and exec prod by George Dicaprio, Leonardo's father. https://youtu.be/P_XdtAQXnGE?si=Q3XnW4DWS8OWqeME
Awesome to know that this whole time a billionaire could've just walked up to Washington DC and take control of our government with a group of interns and no one has the power to stop it.
