Ahead of the Lunar New Year, a reminder that Chinese residents invited to name British landmarks in Mandarin named Stoke-on-Trent ‘Wan Bo Tao Ci’ - which translates as the ‘City of Diverse Ceramics’.

Fittingly, the spiritual home of British ceramics is now officially designated a World Craft City.
