The thing is ikuhara shows are like a catalogue and talking about them in isolation is ultimately a very stupid thing to do (due to the Patterns) but like you do just need a pallet cleanser from what I personally just see as misery porn at the end of the day

finally finished it and yeah that sure was an anime.
so much being allegory/symbolic to the point where actual backstory was obfuscated or even ignored got so tiring, like the further things strayed from what looked relatively literal at first just feels retroactively pointless?

"this spell will save her" then why are the boys sacrificing themselves? but not actually?
