It looks like this would have roughly the same effect as childhood vaccination, where there is still potential that protective antibodies (in your case from infection) may have waned in the years since.

If you have any doubts, I'd recommend reaching out to your doctor to request an antibody test.

I read that if you were born between 1968 and 1989, 2 doses weren’t the norm, and these adults probably need a second dose/booster. If you have a moment, can you confirm that this is correct for those of us who don’t have access to our childhood immunization records. Thank you.

It depends who you ask, but for the most part <2 shots is considered an incomplete series. To be extra sure, you can ask your doctor to order a measles antibody test to confirm whether you have any functional immunity prior to getting an adult MMR booster.

If you were immunized as a kid, you can have a blood test to determine if you're still immune, but I probably had the shot in about 1973, so I just emailed my doc to say "should I just get the booster without testing?"
