I still love the old metal Stegadon. I found my Warhammer Lizard army months ago to recover anything unpainted for AoS and had fun looking at all the old figures

Yeah that Stegadon rules. My brother in law was getting out of the hobby while I was getting into it so he passed on the Start Collecting Seraphon box from before the new sculpts came out. Had a lot of fun making them as bright and colourful as possible lol.

It was new for me too! I got into the hobby a year or so ago with my YouTube algorithm picking up the slapchop trend. Looked accessible and turns out it was but it does tend to make the minis look pretty dark, not a bad thing but I wanted to try for a brighter scheme for fun!

It's still using xpress colour (Vallejo version of contrast/speed paint) just over a white prime instead of a zenithal over black. These types of paints are awesome on scales and such with all the recesses and they wet blend really easily which I find really fun.
