And with the resulting windfall of revenue the banks are expected to not only reduce staff, but also close local branches.

Many years ago, struggling to pay hospital bills, I bounced a check by 13 cents. The bank arranged the checks so I was hit with many fees. It ended up costing me over $300 in fees. I was distraught (and sick and had to quit my 1099 job to get another job with insurance). America was/is fucked up.

Doesn't sound accurate, my bank charges $36 per, and that's BEFORE any Trump/Musk/GOP action. So if Biden actually did anything clearly it wasn't in force
