He basically heard the conspiracy theories that you animals had been pushing on the internet, heard a story from this “victim” and saw the chance for a big pay day.
Didn’t bother to do any due diligence.

Every word of what you said. I don’t believe in “believe all accusers, full stop.” I think we should listen to each claim carefully and judge the veracity on a case by case basis. Some discrepancies happen, human memories are faulty. But they don’t invent whole convos with folks who weren’t present

I honestly hope Jay sues the shit out of him and whichever association holds his bar license disciplines him. This was reckless and seems a lot to me like a violation of ethics to have filed a federal lawsuit without doing the basic due diligence he could have pawned off on a paralegal
