ty. As a modder with not the most up-to-date PC, seeing stuff with a mil+ polygons makes me cry. More people need to fix that... it's really bad practice.

Nw. I know for a fact a lot of people who do that are just ignorant about how it works or how bad it is for people without expensive PCs. Some people might just be lazy but I think talking about it and offering info is the best way to inform those who don't know better

I agree. I'm really glad you posted this... I work mostly in zbrush... so I could not properly help many people since I do all that work in a program most ppl don't use. I'm still learning blender too since I don't use it as much.

Also sharing this again. In M101 we'll gladly explain stuff to you and help you figure things out so people don't make you the "character of the day" for not optimizing your mods (which is very common, hence me putting together the doc above)

Another REALLY important thing for mod (and game model in general) optimization is *Remove All Parts Of The Body That Aren't Seen!* I can't even count how many mods left the entire nude body under a shirt where it's never seen, and bloat the polycount and make clipping issues bc of it!!
