Active like posting everyday? No, but I have an “active” brand account. I don’t want the name to go back into the pool and have someone besmirch all I’ve worked for. They’ll have to burn the servers to get me to deactivate. It’s locked down and set private. All security as high as possible etc.

This is also me. I have been able to ransfer about 50% of my must-follows, but I cannot cut the cord entirely for many others. I am privated, no RT's, likes or anything. No longer even have a button to post on browser.

My account's still active but I haven't posted for 2 weeks and don't intend to again. I now only follow about 35 people. The problem most football chatter's on there. Clubs in particular. Really need them to move over. I'd be very surprised if many left X though. They'd just duplicate content.

As people I follow migrate away, I follow them here and unfollow them on Twitter. I only look at the “Following” tab on Twitter and the content is becoming more sparse by the day as people leave. When everyone I follow has migrated I will leave.

Don't think Musk will be too troubled by the drop off, it's got him what he wanted. I don't believe he was ever that interested in the platform itself, as he tried to get out of buying it. It just serves him now as a personal soap box,with lot's of adoring fans and a stick to poke others with.

But, Musk can’t continue to sell Tesla shares in order to fund the running of X indefinitely.

Musk laid off 10% of Tesla’s workforce this year due to a drop in sales/profits. Tesla is likely to come under more financial pressure when Trump withdraws the subsidy on EV.

I doubt it was planned, but he saw an opportunity to get something out of Twitter. As for the longer term, who knows ? He'll obviously expect something out of the association with Trump and it'll be interesting to see how that pans out. If needs be he'll just drop X.
