The inconsistencies and physical anomalies in the image indicate it's likely AI-generated.

It doesn’t need to shut it down but requires laws to hold it accountable for facilitating disinformation and for users doing the same, which includes the chief abuser Elon Musk.

Countries need to act fast in the face of deliberate disinformation with intent to overthrow governments.

IMO the UK govt isn't doing anything about Xitter - not even shuttering their own accounts there - because they're afraid any action like that would offend the US govt. I say that because even the devolved govts have stayed on, despite e.g. John Swinney suggesting ScotGov might come off.

I doubt they approve. But they are scared. Tariffs directed in spite at the UK will collapse any chance of growth. Then they might even be forced to turn towards a closer trading relationship with the EU. Horror of horrors..
