BLM is actually a rare example where the protests got decent coverage in the US, but that's because they were scary (or could be framed that way) to middle class white people. The others were mostly "safe" and could be ignored

I saw the protests against President Yoon in South Korea last summer. It was just a few people standing on street corners with signs.

The protests grew bigger and more frequent.

They eventually grew to be huge, and congress impeached him.

groups like @indivisible.org have to figure out ways of publicizing them. And highlighting them without endangering protesters. The problem is that the “be careful” rules [no cell phones, no photographs of identifiable people] makes them hard to show and highlight
