Do you have tips on how to gain attention from a press that solicits writing instead of regularly opening submissions?
In a lot of cases I notice that a prologue is more useful then an epilogue. P2/2

Where I am from, we have limited publishing and agency options. Our best options are overseas for editors, mentorships, and publishing. In your experience , is it an issue to work with someone from the other side of the world/ different time zones?

When is a book best brought to you? I've done dozens of drafts. Am I too soon, or too late?
As someone who is deeply into the horror genre, and someone who sees a huge amount of manuscripts no doubt, do you notice the changing trends in the genre? Do themes/trends tend to go in cycles? Thank you!
