For the life of me, as a mother to a son, the only way I can imagine inserting myself into the demise of his relationship with another is my knowing what a POS my boy was/is. Why else would a mother intercede? My schadenfreude is high on this one.

She spoke so slowly. You don't need to be a lawyer to tell when someone was coached for a specific questioning.
I feel sorry for her. She was firm in her original standpoint for his abusive behavior. Someone made her backtrack her core values. I saw a woman bullied into retracting that email.
