Its very common in hispanic households :(

Growing up undiagnosed and with trauma you dont even realize is trauma till later on

Its sad indeed especially when most parents see any mental illnesses as a phase or just overdramatic

Its a common mistake too especially when a kid acts a certain way

Oh for sure!!! Being the oldest didn’t help me much either, my mom thought it was just me being a kid and overly emotional and sensitive. My youngest brother is as a lot like me though and she got him tested since i insisted on it and he did get diagnosed

Oldest daughter trauma

And same my little brother has clear signs of it and we also have other family members as well
