It wouldn't surprise me if the Russian crypto exchange Garantex (now revived after LE takedown as "Grinex") had been a nexus for laundering proceeds of crime in support of Russian/Nkorean/Chinese economies, as a crossover between HSA and SOC, for some time.

But military operations including Beijing-backed civilians or soldiers? Nah. Doesn't fit the current MO, which is to preserve the image of anti-Trump deterrent and potential peacemaker/stalwart ally among Western countries, which is the image China appears to be trying to build in new Tariffs World.
