First thing caught my eye were these “lightly played” Forests, which were part of my Elves deck in high school. The deck had a bad matchup against an exploding can of Coke in my fencing bag.
Next, I had to open up the tournament packs. Some had rule books, inserts, surveys, and precon guides. One had Unglued cards. Another had cards that I assume came from Scrye and InQuest magazines for card games like Buffy, Survivor, Sailor Moon, WWF, Monster Rancher, and more.
Continuing along the third column, I find a bunch of lands… including two “Windswept Heath”, a “Mox Ruby”, attempts to white border an Island, and only a few Forests because most of mine were damaged.
1. Found some cards to play in Premodern!
2. Look at the edges… cards from my first packs ever (Ice Age)
3. Just cool artwork
4. More “altered” cards I found
The final things in the big box are some cards for a game I don’t recognize, the Star Wars CCG game (I have rare cards in toploaders somewhere), and my few Pokémon cards. There’s also an unopened tape cassette for learning Spanish and French, for some reason.
Finally, the booster boxes! The Eternal Masters one has packs opened but the cards remain in the packs. I opened them when the set came out but planned to draft them with friends at home. The Unstable box was drafted. The Oath of the Gatewatch box was drafted at my bachelor party as a gift.

Also I guess I used one as a Wild Mongrel proxy!
