That's a lovely sentiment, but not really true from everything I've witnessed in life. Existence requires a lot out of people and creativity is often the first thing that's surrendered to care for those around us.
This seems super-weird from a guy who got rich to the tune of (see what I did there?) fifty lifetimes of mere-mortal earnings, having us consume the wonderful things he created.
David Byrne has always been on the spectrum. It's made him an affective communicator for the "other" but he has notoriously lacked empathy, especially for his bandmates. I appreciate the music he has created while being appalled at his myopia and self-absorption.
